Doug and Karen Garner were married in 1988 and started Garner Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in late 1988. They have two adult children and two grandchildren. Their son Reagan serves in the Air Force. He, his wife Baeli and daughter Ellie live in Louisiana. Their daughter Lauren, her husband Chris and their son Cason live in New Braunfels. Doug is N.A.T.E. certified in 4 areas of our trade.
Justin Sheffield is our General Manager. He maintains the day-to-day operations of our company, implements new technology and service initiatives, and supervises our team. His 25+ years of prior management experience in various industries as well as his dedication to transparent and affordable service make him an incredible match with the goals and values of Garner Heating and Air Conditioning. Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and their adult daughter in his home in the Wimberley area. He also enjoys collecting and spending time outdoors.
Ryan Peterson is our Operations Manager. He ensures that we are always providing the very best quality Service and Installations. He is NATE certified in 4 areas of our trade and is also NCI Airflow Certified! Ryan, his wife and two children live in Seguin. He is very passionate about our trade and is always looking for ways to improve us through training!
Brittany Cupp is our Office Manager. She oversees scheduling and the ordering of parts among her many other job duties. Her diligence in these areas is vital to getting our customers taken care of as soon as possible. Brittany has lived in the Austin area since 2016. She is an avid hiker and in cooler months she spends much of her time outdoors.
Marissa Gloria is our Customer Service Representative (CSR). She will be answering our phones and ensuring our customers get the best possible service! Marissa is also in charge of maintaining our Maintenance Club! Marissa lives in San Marcos with her husband and two daughters.
Max Bethke is one of our Project Managers. He has been with us since 2005! Over his time with Garner, he has worked in almost every position with the company as he worked his way up to Project Manager. He is very skilled in finding the best solution for our clients in need of a new AC system in residential and small commercial applications. Max, his wife, son and two stepdaughters live in San Marcos where his family has a long history. Max is NATE certified.
Eli Dover Will be seen is our Lead Service Technician. You will see him on repair calls as well as Maintenance visits. Eli lives in Buda and is eager to help our customers with their comfort systems! Eli is passionate about our trade and has invested heavily in his tools and training! Eli is NATE certified.
Matt Fleischauer is one of our Service Technicians. Matt is a great asset to our team and one of our most requested Technicians! He is great at maintaining and repairing residential A/C and Heating systems. He and his wife live here in Kyle. Matt is working towards acquiring his NATE certification.
Omar Hernandez Omar graduated from Canyon High School in 2020. After graduation he jumped right into HVAC by attending and completing his certification from Lawson Institute in 2021. He then worked through his apprenticeship with Garner Heating and Air and is now a Service Technician. He is a fast learner with an aptitude for fixing HVAC systems. He is fluent in two languages and in his off time he loves supporting his favorite club Barcelona FC. Omar loves helping his clients get their systems working and takes pride in a job well done.
Chey Simpson has been a Certified HVAC technician since 2020. He has called the Texas Hill Country home since 1986. He is very passionate about HVAC and in his spare time, he is an avid golfer.
Ethan Deaver is an Installation Team Leader. He consistently gets great 5-Star Reviews from our clients. His attention to detail and mechanical aptitude enables him to install new systems with the highest degree of accuracy. Ethan lives in Maxwell with his wife and son. Ethan is also a very capable, Certified Service Technician!
Jason Duggins is an Installation Team Leader. His incredible work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile is a huge asset to our Installation Team! Jason is married, and he and his wife live in San Marcos.
Angel Tinoco will be seen on most of our system replacements and new construction projects. Angel joined us in 2021 and has proven to be a great asset to our Installation Team. He has grown quickly with our company and is working towards becoming an Installation Team Leader. In Angel’s free time, he enjoys watching combat sports, training in boxing, and playing guitar.
