Canyon Lake TX Heating Cooling

Heat checked performed on a horizontal gas system. Air filter was replaced. Flame sensor was tested and cleaned. Drain line was flushed and treated. All electrical and mechanical components found within manufacturer specifications. The system was running at completion of service.

Cool check completed on a three-year-old horizontal Lennox system. The drain line was flushed and treated. Condenser coils were cleaned. During the maintenance of the system, I did find the torque booster below manufacture specifications. I did present options for repair and the homeowner has opted to have the torque booster replaced today. Completed repair and function checked the system.

Pumped down existing refrigerant to the condenser. Installed new TXV in the air handler evaporator coil. New insulation on the TXV bulb. Pressure tested system with nitrogen and pulled vacuum. Cleared condensation drain with CO2 and primed trap with water. Charged AC to 5 degrees subcooling per the unit’s chart. Tested operation of system. Everything is working at completion of service

Performed an A/C tune-up on two Carrier heat pump systems. Checked the electrical, mechanical and performance systems of the unit. Cleared, cleaned, flushed and treated the drain line and washed the outdoor coils. All filters were replaced recently by homeowner and are in clean condition. I then performed diagnostic on the downstairs south system and found the thermostat has failed. I spoke with homeowner and he chose to have the thermostat replaced. Installed a new thermostat for the downstairs south system. Checked operation of the system and completed the tune up.

Installed 4 ton Carrier R-410A condenser. Placed condenser on new leveled pad. Installed air handler in upflow position with heat kit. Built and installed new wooden platform the the air handler to sit on. Installed new supply plenum box and attached existing flex duct. Sealed all connections and gaps with mastic. Rebuilt primary drain line, cleared and tested operation. Pressure tested system with nitrogen and pulled vacuum. Installed Honeywell T6 thermostat. Tested heating and cooling operation. Everything is working at completion of service.

Springtime AC System Tune-Up: As part of a thorough seasonal maintenance service, I conducted a detailed AC tune-up. This included checking for refrigerant leaks, cleaning the evaporator coil, straightening coil fins, clearing condensate drains, and tightening all electrical connections. Cleared, cleaned, flushed and treated the drain line. I also replaced the filter for the customer. I did find that the blower wheel is dirty. No other major issues were found.

Heat check completed on a horizontal gas system. During the check I found that the static pressure in system is slightly above the manufacture rating at .6 inches of water column. I also found the inducer draft motor is pulling more amps than it should. I did let the homeowner know and we have decided to monitor it for now. No other major issues found.
