Heat check completed on a straight electric air handler. All electrical and mechanical components were found within manufacturer specifications. The system is heating properly at time of departure.

nstalled Payne 4 ton R-454B condenser, mounted on brackets to wall. Installed mobile home straight electric air handler with heat strips and R-454B evaporator coil. Installed new disconnect box and wiring for the outdoor unit. Built and installed new supply plenum to connect to the flex duct. Sealed connections with mastic / hardcast. Installed Ecobee Lite thermostat. Pressure tested system with nitrogen and pulled vacuum. Charged AC with R-454B refrigerant. Tested heating and cooling operation. Everything is working at completion of install.

Service diagnostic found that air handler would run and call for cooling. I checked over the condenser unit and found that rodents had chewed through the wires to the low and high-pressure switches. The wiring harness for the compressor was still in good condition. Options for repair were presented to the homeowner, and He chose to have the wiring repaired. I removed the old and damaged wires and ran new wires to the pressure switches. I function tested the system and the system is now operational. The system was running at the completion of service.

Installed new metering device on indoor coil. Removed refrigerant and replaced filter dryer. Pressure tested system for extensive leak check and pulled deep vacuum. Shored up drain line tubing in chase and verified drain operation. Fixed outdoor high voltage connection where locking ring broke and also insulated suction line with thick wall insulation. Weighed in 2lb of recovered refrigerant, and 3lb of virgin refrigerant. System working at this time.
