HVAC Maintenance and Repair: A customer’s heating system failed to keep their home warm during a cold snap. Our technicians identified a blocked flue pipe, which was restricting airflow and causing the system to underperform. After clearing the blockage and conducting a full system inspection, the heating system resumed normal operation, efficiently heating the home.
Duct Air Purifier Installation Service: To address concerns about lingering odors and allergens, I installed a duct-mounted air purifier. The system now neutralizes particles such as dust, pollen, and pet dander, enhancing indoor air quality and providing a healthier space for the homeowner during autumn allergy season.
Heating tune-up completed on a horizontal gas system. The drain line was flushed and treated. The air filter was changed. All electrical examined. I did find that the inducer motor’s amp draws are slightly elevated and needs to be monitored. Static pressure within range, and heat rise also within range. No other major issues found.
Performed heating maintenance on a gas system. Checked all electrical, mechanical, safeties and performance of the system. Cleared the drain line and also cleaned the outside of the furnace system. No other major issues were found, and the system is operational at this time.
Heating System Repairs: A client reported heating issues, so I conducted a thorough inspection and cleaned the dirty burner assembly. This improved combustion efficiency, ensuring consistent and reliable warmth for the homeowner as colder weather set in.
On arrival the homeowner stated that her Reme Halo air purifier was not working, and she wanted to add an ionizer and UV lights. I installed our Stage 2 and Stage 3 Breathe easy packages. I also tested the Reme Halo and found it to be working. I informed the homeowner of this, and she asked me to unplug it for now just in case she decides to have it on later. After I completed the work, I checked the system and found the outdoor condenser fan motor has a hotspot. I informed the customer and presented options for repair,. No other major issues were found, and the system is operational at this time.
I installed the new blower wheel housing, motor and blower wheel. Checked operation of the system and found no other issues. Both zones are open, and filters were clean. The system is operational at this time.
Two system maintenance completed. Upstairs unit – The drain line was cleared, and the float switch is operational. All electrical was checked. No major issues found with this system. Downstairs unit – I found that the float switch is not operational. I also found water in the emergency drain pan. Found significant rust on emergency drain pan. The primary drain line was flushed and cleaned. The outdoor heat pump coil was cleaned. All electrical components are within manufacture specs. I did find the refrigerant charge below manufactures specs. Evaporator coil at 35 degrees and super heat above normal. The homeowner has opted to have the float switch replaced at this time. I replaced the float switch and checked operation.
Air Conditioning System Tune-Up: Conducted a tune-up by cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and optimizing performance for extended unit lifespan.
Cool check completed on a horizontal gas system. The homeowner stated that they hear a rattle noise coming from the condenser occasionally but I was unable to recreate the noise during the visit today. I found that the capacitor is very low in value and the condenser fan motor is starting to show signs of overheating. No other major issues found.
Ductless Mini-Split System Installation: Installed a ductless mini-split system to provide zoned comfort and energy efficiency for a home without existing ductwork.
AC Compressor Terminal Replacement: Replaced damaged compressor terminals to ensure proper electrical connections and AC function.
AC Defrost Control Repair: Fixed an AC system's defrost control to ensure proper defrost cycles and prevent frost buildup.
Performed cooling maintenance on one heat pump system. Checked all electrical, mechanical and performance of the system. Cleared and treated the drain line and washed the outdoor coil. All surge protectors, UV lights, and the air purifier are on and working. I did find that the starter on the condenser unit is burnt and pitted at the contacts. I presented my findings to the homeowner, and he chose to have it replaced at this time. I replaced the starter and cycled power at the thermostat. No other major issues were found, and the system is operational at this time.
On arrival the homeowner stated that water was leaking from underneath the vertical air handler. During my assessment I found a clogged primary drain line which was dumping water down the secondary drain line and into the emergency drain pan underneath air handler. The existing float switch attached to the emergency drain pan was found to be faulty. Presented repair options and the homeowner chose to have the drain line cleared and the safety switch replaced. I completed the repairs and cycled the thermostat. The system is operational and cooling at this time.
Cool check completed on a gas system. The furnace was inspected for cleanliness. The drain line was cleared and treated. The float switch was checked and is operational. Outdoor condensing coils have been cleaned. Refrigerant levels are within range. The capacitor and condenser fan motor are in bad shape. Presented the customer with repair options and they have chosen to have the condenser fan motor and capacitor replaced. I have changed out the capacitor and removed faulty condenser fan motor and replaced with a new one. Tested system and it is operational.
Performed semiannual maintenance on two systems. The upstairs air handler drain line has been cleared and treated; the float switches are operational. The outdoor heat pump coils have been cleaned and all electrical within manufacture specs. Refrigerant levels also within range. The downstairs air handler drain line has been vacuumed out and treated. No float switches found. Outdoor condenser coils cleaned and all electrical within manufacture specs. Refrigerant levels are within range.
During inspection of condenser, I found a broken low voltage red wire. Upon further inspection I also found that the condenser fan motor that has been overheating. Lastly, the defrost control board is discolored in several areas. Presented my findings to the homeowner and they chose to have the low voltage wires repaired today. Complete repair and the system is now operational.

Removed all the old duct work and plenums. Removed the old I-boxes. Installed new flex runs, new I-boxes, and new supply and return grilles. Redesigned the supply and return with new plenums. Hung all of the flex runs for best air flow. Cleared the drain line. Checked the operation of the system and it is working properly.
