If the compressor isn't running, you'll need to call an HVAC technician to service your AC unit. If the compressor is running, check to see if the air blowing from the vents is cold. After performing the diagnostic, I found that the system was completely empty on R-410A refrigerant. I pressure tested the system and looked for a leak however I could not locate the leak on the indoor or outdoor system. I informed the customer and he said he would just like to add the refrigerant at this time. After recharging the system everything is coming on and cooling at this time. It is my assumption that the lightning could have damaged the refrigerant lines themselves. I can't confirm that without an isolation leak search. The customer wants to wait and see if that's necessary.
Find the voltage enhancer in the condenser completely dead on the compressor side. Customer chooses the Platinum repair option. Make repairs and check the system in cool. The system is cooling properly at this time.
