Garner HVAC has always provided greta service every time I have called them.
Performed A/C tune-up on a mobile home straight cool system. Checked the electrical, mechanical and performance systems of the unit. Cleaned the drain line as best as possible with my shop vac and treated the drain line as well. Secured the outdoor compressor wiring and washed the outdoor coil. I found the system was low on refrigerant and the blower wheel was dirty. I spoke with Nick and he chose to have the blower assembly cleaned and add refrigerant to the system. I added 2lbs of refrigerant and performed a leak search. I was unable to find a leak at this time. I then pulled and cleaned the blower wheel and blower housing. After completing the work I reset the breakers and verified the system is operational. The system was running at completion of service.
Installed new ductless system in garage space above window. Ran wiring, copper tubing, and drain line along interior wall until penetration. Pressure tested line-set and pulled deep vacuum. Verified system operation. Everything working at completion of service.
Ductwork Inspection and Repair: Performed a comprehensive duct inspection, locating and sealing multiple air leaks using mastic and foil tape. This repair improved system airflow, balanced room temperatures, and increased HVAC efficiency.
Summertime Air Conditioning System Tune-Up: Performed a thorough AC tune-up by cleaning both evaporator and condenser coils, checking and adjusting refrigerant levels, calibrating the thermostat, and inspecting all electrical components to maximize system efficiency and lifespan.
AC cool check completed on one horizontal Lennox system. Drain line was flushed and treated. Condenser coils were cleaned. I found the contactor charred and pitted. The slab of the condenser is in poor shape. I went over my findings with the homeowner. No other major issues were found. The system is cooling properly at time of departure.
Performed diagnostic on the Carrier straight cool system. I found the primary drain line was clogged. I spoke with homeowner and he chose to have the drain line cleared. I cleared, flushed, and treated the drain line and verified it is draining properly. I also taped the return air filter to prevent any filter bypass. I also noticed a lot of ants around the outdoor unit. I sprayed insecticide to help keep them out of the electrical. No other issues were found. The system is operational at this time.
Installed 3 ton Carrier furnace system. Installed Honeywell thermostat. Installed new supply and return plenums. Sealed all connections with mastic. Rebuilt, insulated and cleared primary drain line. Replaced disconnect and whip for outdoor system. Pressure tested line set and pulled a vacuum. Ran low voltage in 1/2 inch seal tite. Charged system to meet manufacturer specifications. Everything is working at completion of service.

Performed diagnostic and found the breaker for the outdoor unit had tripped due to a failed capacitor. I also found the return air filter was dirty and there was no water safety switch on the secondary drain line. Arrived to complete repairs and began digging out the trench to install new lineset. We found there is a water line that runs on top of the old copper lineset and a large tree root that runs on top as well. Spoke to the homeowner and decided moving the condenser would be the best option. We moved the condenser over to the side of the house and ran new copper out of the exterior penetration and across the attic into the furnace closet. Connected all refrigerant piping and installed new high and low voltage electrical lines. Pressure tested system and pulled a triple evacuation on refrigerant circuit down to 300 microns. Recharged system to factory specifications and verified operation. Everything is working at completion of service.
Fixed my problem. Elijah was courteous and polite and friendly.

Performed diagnostic on the living area system. Found that there were ants at the outdoor contactor. This was preventing the system from turning on. I also found that the outdoor fan motor is showing some wear and tear. I spoke with the homeowner and he decided to have the contactor replaced and the drain line serviced. I cleaned, cleared and treated the drain line and replaced the outdoor contactor. I also washed the outdoor coil and secured the compressor wiring at no additional cost. Cycled power at the thermostat and verified the system is now operational. The system is working at completion of service.
