Replaced both 4-inch filters with client supplied filters and removed the 1 inch filters. Also found the UV light for the master bedroom system has burnt out. No other issues were found. Removed existing strap and installed custom wood supports to stabilize and level the detached supply plenum. Resealed it with mastic and gypsum tape along with return air connection. Installed Santa Fe 100 pint dehumidifier on newly built platform above the air handler with new drain pan. Ran a new 12 inch flex return from each filter box to the plenum, 2 runs in total. Built condensation drain for the dehumidifier tying into the system’s primary with ball valves. Cleared primary drain with CO2 and primed both traps with water. Tested operation of dehumidifier and system. Everything is working at completion of install.

Secured outdoor compressor wiring and washed the outdoor coil. I did find there is no water safety switch on the secondary pan. The indoor coil is rusted out and prone to a refrigerant leak. The outdoor starter is pitted at the contacts. No other issues were found. All UV lights are on and working. The system is operational at this time.

He inspected our components and showed me the values or numbers of where the ranges should be. You definitely want to keep your HVAC system operating properly or it can create other issues.
