On arrival, I found that the indoor furnace control board was displaying a fault code relating to a furnace pressure switch failing to send a signal to the control board. I tested the pressure switch to ensure it was properly operating, which confirmed that the control board had failed and was not receiving the appropriate signal. I spoke with homeowner about my findings and we have decided to go ahead and replace the furnace control board.
