After performing the diagnostic, I found that the system was completely empty on refrigerant. I found multiple leaks in the welds on both the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. I presented the client with his options to repair the welds, pressure test the system, pull a vacuum on the system and recharge the unit with R-410A refrigerant. The client agreed to all repairs. While completing repairs, I also noticed that when they installed the system, they did not put wire nuts on the low voltage connections leaving the bare wire fully exposed. I added wire nuts while performing repairs. After performing the repairs, the system is on and working at this time.
Found leak at flair fitting on garage mini split condenser. Customer has chosen to have us make repair and have us return with proper equipment to complete work. Will have our dispatcher reach out to schedule repairs.

Performed service diagnostic. Diagnostic found that the secondary condensate drain line was never installed. Water was flowing out and into the secondary drain pan. Both primary drain lines were tied together with no means of clearing the drains. Options for repair were presented to customer and they chose to complete repairs. Secondary drain lines where capped and ball valves were installed to allow for clearing of the individual drain lines. System was running at the time of departure.
Performed the AC tune-up. While performing the inspection I did find deficiencies with the system. I presented repair options and the client chose to have the battery capacitor replaced and upgrade to our Gold Maintenance plan. Repair completed and system operational.
Performed the AC tune-up and everything is working at this time.
After performing the diagnostic, I found the system to be low on refrigerant. I presented my findings to the client, and he chose to just add refrigerant at this time. They have already replaced the coil in the past and don't want to do that again. After recharging the refrigerant, the system is working. I did recommend the maintenance plan, but the client declined.
After performing the diagnostic, I found that the upstairs system is low on refrigerant. I did find the leak inside the evaporator coil in the attic and presented the client with his options for repairs. He chose the temporary repair to add refrigerant. I did inform the client that there is no warranty with just adding refrigerant. Refrigerant added and system is cooling.

Performed service diagnostic. Diagnostic found that the system was low on refrigerant. Leak check was performed, and a leak was found in the evaporator coil. Customer chose to add refrigerant to the system to get the system functioning until a repair can be made. We will contact the manufacturer for availability of a new coil tomorrow. 7.6 pounds of R-410A was added to the system. Electrical disconnect confirmed in and on. Electrical disconnect confirmed in and on. System was running at the time of departure.
During diagnosis I found that the capacitor to the compressor had failed. The fan side read 3 microfarads. I also observed that the condenser needs cleaning. I spoke with Emilie about maintenance, and she decided to sign up. Indoor unit is very clean, but the secondary drain was done in a strange way. I would recommend a float switch install during maintenance. Replaced capacitor and system is up and running. We will contact the customer to schedule the maintenance visit in the next couple of weeks.
